Lingua Italiana nel Mondo 🤍

The Week of the Italian Language in the World is held every year in the third week of October. Organized by the diplomatic-consular network and the Italian Cultural Institutes in collaboration with our main partners in linguistic promotion, the Week has over time become the most important event on a global scale dedicated to our language. Since its establishment in 2001, this event has annually received High Patronage from the Presidency of the Republic.

The XXIII edition (16-22 October 2023) has its theme “Italian language and sustainability”, with the aim of promoting throughout the world, through the Italian language, the culture of sustainability carried forward by a country at the forefront of the issues environmental.
