Kindergarten

In Kindergarten classes kids are divided into groups, according to their age. They are taught Italian, English and Arabic languages for a total of 30 hours per week (12 hours Italian language, 12 hours English and 6 hours Arabic language). Kindergarten ‘s program concurs with the effective, psicomotorial, cognitive, moral, and social education and development of the pupil achieving the educating profile and continuity that they will experience in the Primary School.

At the center of the educating process of the school program is the well – being of the kid and everything is organized and thought in order for the kid to have the most serene and constructive permanence at school, fulfilling his needs and expectations.

Didactics is flexible and animated mostly with games, animation, and direct experience. The activities proposed are multiple and have the duty to develop in the kid competences, be these global and specific ones :

The training program takes into consideration the type of user that is presented annually and includes the curricula included in the national guidelines for the Nursery School, revised in the light of the needs of the multicultural and multilingual school.

Specifically, we proceed by implementing strategies and projects that involve the same time the three linguistic areas (in the nursery school you can ‘talk about it almost trilingual, because in this context to the Arabic language is given a space more’ wide) facing Reinforcing the development areas listed below:

Purpose “cross and areas of development ” :

a) development of ‘identity’ the other

b) development of the understanding of the autonomy of the body, movement, health

Guide the child to cooperate by encouraging the development of exchanges and friendships.

The children of Kindergarten will be divided into groups according to their age and their knowledge of the Italian language.

The Kindergarten school will offer the Italian language, English, and Arabic for a total of 30 hours per week divided into five days.

The children divided into groups will benefit from the presence of an Italian language teacher for 12 hours a week;

12 hours of English language and 6 hours of Arabic language per week.

The approach to the language classes will also occur through games, guided activities, use of sound and visual equipment etc. , both individually and in small groups.

AGE OF THE STUDENTS

The children will be accepted in the Kindergarten from the age of 3 up to the age of 5.

DURATION OF THE KINDERGARTEN SCHOOL

The Italian Kindergarten School lasts for three years and provides the necessaries preparation to enter Middle School.

The children will enter at school at 08.10AM and will remain until 13.30 for five days per week from Sunday to Thursday ( included).
